<description>The WSCY soccer program typically lasts 8 weeks with 7 games played (one game per weekend), ending, typically on the last weekend of October. Kids in the U6 (PreK/K) and U8 (1st and 2nd grade) typically practice for one hour, once a week. Older kids will practice twice a week for at least an hour each practice.

The U6 and U8 kids play coed and travel only to Trout Lake. Older kids play on gender delineated teams and can travel to Hood River, Trout Lake, Goldendale and Hood River, depending on whether those communities field teams.

The league is entirely run by volunteers, except that officials are paid to officiate the U10 and older games. Coaches are volunteers who have access to coaching clinics and other resources.

The fee for a student to play in the fall 2010 season was $40.
